Why we PRAY!

Why We Pray

We pray for many reasons, but we’ve seen lately that we pray because the more we step into the humble pursuit of this habit, the more we’ve seen God move.

Prayer does something.

Last month, you read about a couple named Ali & Howda who started a kingdom business in North Africa where they take clothing to the local marketplace to sell. As much as they are able to use this kingdom business to provide sustainability in their personal lives, they are also able to take the Good News of Jesus to the Unreached people in their community.

Since this update, they have experienced intense spiritual warfare & persecution that led to Howda being hospitalized and in a coma. When we received word, the Spirit immediately prompted us to pray. With their local leaders, we asked God to revive life to her body, bring her out of a coma and to restore her to full health.

And God moved.

In less than twenty-four hours, Howda had come out of the coma and was able to leave the hospital in three days! We were overjoyed...we were overwhelmed. This was a miracle from the living God!

And it motivated us to pray even more. To press into this quiet, unseen act of total dependence on God. To ask Him to change people, to heal people, to bring the news of Jesus where it has never been! Do we always get the miracle we want? Not necessarily...but we always get more of God.
